I still can't believe we have the lovely John Bloodworth coming to spend the day with us!! I'm so excited & really cannot wait to find out what we're making. I have all John's kits being delivered to my house tomorrow & I might just have to have a little sneak peek in the boxes :) :)
All Counties Craft Challenge
Former Create and Craft employee, John Bloodworth, is embarking on a 12-month challenge - to spread creativity across the nation and raise money for a charity which is close to his heart.
John (42), who is also known as the Gentleman Crafter, will be touring all 92 historic UK counties, crafting with communities along the way in a bid to raise £20,000 in aid of Mind, a UK-based registered mental health charity.
John, who has suffered periods of depression and anxiety, said: "I know from my own experience that crafting is therapeutic. I’m hoping this trip will promote the benefits of crafting, raise awareness of mental health and raise valuable funds for Mind."
