National scrapbooking day...

..today is national scrapbooking day so to celebrate i'm sharing with you this layout I made last week of my niece Rosa..

..this layout actually took me quite a long time to complete. I wanted to try something more free-hand & relaxed than my usual style..

 ..I started by drawing the circles free hand & adding some ink splatters diagonally across the page..

..I then added the strips of patterned paper which are cut from a my minds eye, stella rose 6x6 pad called 'mabel'..I also added a few strips of washi tape..

The sentiment is from an old alphabet sticker sheet I've had for years, I thought the font worked well & the colour went perfectly with the patterned papers.

I finished off by adding small clusters of embellishments...various pearls, epoxy circles, punched hearts, an arrow & a few tiny word stickers too.

I really enjoyed making this one! :)
