Mum's birthday card..

Hi Guys.. I hope you all had a lovely weekend.

..we've had a pretty busy one!! - It's my mum's birthday today so we wanted to make sure she had a lovely weekend :)  on Saturday, kay joined me & sharni in taking mum out craft shopping, we visited our favourite local crafts shops, Glitter pot & Crafts-u-love, we also popped into Hobbycrafts & stopped for lunch in Burgess hill - my brothers & I had all given mum craft shopping money so it was nice she was able to treat herself to a few new goodies.

..& yesterday all 13 of us went for a family meal to Jimmys, in Brighton marina..it's a brand new HUGE multi-cuisine buffet restaurant...as with all these buffet places, the food isn't outstanding but there was a good atmosphere, good selection & it was a great place to take the children :) 

..talking of children, my sis-in-law kirsty in pregnant again!! they always wanted 3 so they're over the moon - personally I think they're nuts, lol, 3 children under the age of 4!!! eeeek!!! kirsty is planning to quit work after this one, so she'll be a stay at home mum, however she is going to be helping my brother with his business so they're still keeping sharni on as 'nanny' 3 days a week which is great.

...anyway...here's the card I made for mum, it's a large 8x8 card..

..all cardstock & backing papers are Stampin & I used the stampin up flower patch stamps & dies again..

& a brand new sentiment die I picked up on saturday, it's by tonic studios & is called everyday sentiments 1.. I actually cut this 4 times & glued them together to make the sentiment pop forward..it looks really good in real life & the die cut perfectly every time..
