Lili of the valley challenge card...

Things are starting to get a little less busy around here now. .the kitchen is almost finished, in fact, we have the men here right this minute fitting the Corian worktop.. so while they're working i'm keeping out of the way & hiding in the craftroom :)

I thought I'd have a go at this months LOTV challenge which is 'Christmas in August' so I played along & made my first Christmas card of the year..

I used some papers I picked up when I was last in the USA, the stamp is called James in snow, both dies (heart banner & small doily) are new ones which I bought from crafts u love on our crafty day out last week, the sentiment is a really old do-crafts stamp i've had for ages & the embellishment is a fabric covered button which I got in a bundle as a secret santa pressie at my christmas card making workshop last year :)

I really like the way it turned out - bright, fun colours make it easy to give away at Christmas time.
