I recently treated myself to the Stampin Trimmer..
To be honest I really didn't think I needed this, but when a couple of my workshop ladies bought it I thought it looked much better than my old Fiskars one so I decided to give it a whirl!..
The pros for me are..
The wider cutting surface - A simple thing, but when making a regular sized card not having to fold out the extension arm all the time is great.
Laminated surface - The measurements are covered by a protective laminate so they won't rub off after time.
The grid lines - Much easier to make sure your card is perfectly straight!
The track - It's completely clear makes it much easier to line things up & it clips down into place which prevents your blade/scorer flying off when it's stored in your bag.
There's also a handy storage compartment underneath, I haven't used it yet but it's a good idea to be able to keep your bone folder, tweezers, scissors etc all together :)
It works really well, both cutting & scoring. It's well built & great value for money!
I use a professional grade guillotine for my heavy duty & bulk cutting - this obviously can't compare to that, but if you're looking for an inexpensive trimmer & scorer that's small & light-weight enough to carry around in your tool bag then this is PERFECT & I highly recommend it!

Must admit I did like the look of that Clair, I think I might be getting that on the stampers 10.! You can't beat the quality of Stampin up equipment although it's slightly dearer it's certainly worth getting.
