At the weekend my mum & dad celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary, my brothers & I had arranged for them to have a lovely stay in a hotel & we all met up on Sunday for a meal in the private dining suite to celebrate both their anniversary & mothers day.
We had such a lovely time & the food was AMAZING!!

& here's the card I made for mum & dad..
I went all shabby chic, grungy, distressy, inky etc.. quite different for me but I know mum loves this style of card..
It's a large card at 8"x8", it's actually much more full in real life than it looks in these photos..
it's a pretty heavy card too as the frame is metal - I picked it up a while ago in a charity shop & knew use it one day!
The papers are from a 12"x12" pad I've had for years it's my all time favourite ever paper pad!! - It's by K&Co & It's called Smitten - It really is GORGEOUS!!!!
The card really did look lovely once boxed & I think mum & dad both loved it :)

What a beautiful photo Clair. It was our 40th on the 9th March. I had forgotten it was a milestone one, so didnt plan anything special. lol.
