I had the pleasure of meeting up with a fellow crafter/cardmaker/scrapbooker/quilter/blogger last week {Hello Burnice!!!}
we only live 15 minutes away from each other, but it was the first time we'd met up.. We had such a lovely afternoon just chatting away about all things crafty..it was as if we'd known each other for ages!..first Burnice came over to mine to have a nosey in the craftroom & give me some much needed advice on my quilting...then after yet more chatting we decided to head over to her place so I could be nosey & check out her craftroom..or should I say craft cabin..the very lucky lady has got a dedicated craft cabin at the end of her garden! I was SO envious! It was lovely,so bright & light with loads of natural light streaming in through the windows, something sadly my little craftroom lacks :o(
Anyway...whilst I was there something caught my eye.. A little frame made entirely from nestabilities. I'm not sure if Burnice had made it herself or had been given it as a gift but it was super cute & I just knew I had to make one.
Here's my attempt..
Soooo easy to make.. just cut various shapes in various colours, cut a hole in the top one to place your photo under, layer them up with foam pads, attach some ribbon so it can be hung..& you're done!!! Oh..I added flat backed pearls to mine but you don't have to.. Cute isn't it???
ETA... They were made by Burnices friend Sam..HERE's a link to her blog..pop over & take a look, she has some fab things on there & a rather cute dog too!! :o)
