I'm tempted to try a new hobby - Quilting - Have you ever tried it? Got any tips to share?
It's something that has appealed to me for a while now, I been following Anna Maria Horners blog for ages & she has the most wonderful fabric collections, to be honest i've always been too scared to buy any though - I really don't think I could make anything good enough to do her gorgeous fabrics justice!!
Mum & I are off to a quilting shop tomorrow, so we'll have a good look around & ask lots of questions before jumping in but I can see myself getting hooked..
Just look at how beautiful these are..

I've been looking to expand my craftiness into quilting as well. My nan was a seamstress and I've bought a sewing machine and I'm hooked and just want to sew things lol! I look forward to seeing how it goes for you.
I'm thinking about doing a Christmas quilt, something cute to have over the back of the sofa over xmas to snuggle down on the sofa with to watch TV :) I must be mad!
I can remmend it. Have been an avid card maker for several years now but discovered patchwork and quilting on holiday in August. have been bitten by the bug now and had to go and buy a sewing machine. Visited 'The Quilt Shop' in Dorking a couple of weeks ago - well worth a visit. Got material stash now and sewing machine takes pride of place at the spare seat at the dining table, much to hubby's annoyance :-) My crafting is gradually taking over the house...

Oh my quilting and sewing are soooo addictive! I now have a room full of fabric, yikes!
Anna Maria is great, I also have her book called Seams to Me which is brilliant and comes with full size patterns. Great inspiration in there!
And you can use fabric on cards too which I love to do! Go for it, you'll love it x
