A Lovely Lazy Sunday...

...It's not very often at all that I get chance to play in the craftroom on a Sunday..Well today has been a lovely change I must say...long lie-in, late breakfast, chillin out in Pj's..Then into the craftroom for a little play, whilst hubby watches MotoGP on the telly!!!!...
Just what a Sunday should be :o)
Here's what I made:
A lush card with lots of gorgeous swirly bling..
I've used almost all my favourite things on this one card...Stampin up cardstock in Tempting Turquoise & Barely Banana, Doodlebug backing papers, Penny Black stamp, Copic Markers, Nestability oval & Scalloped ovals, Prima 'say it with crystals' bling & a gorgeous metal flower embellishment (I've recently had a whole load of these sent over from Thailand so you'll be seeing lots of them!!)...ooohhh & there's a hint of stickles on the tulips too... :o)
Then I made a 'Box Card'...Just to try something different. The box itself is die cut using one of the large Sizzix dies (I think its called 'shaker box'). I stamped a sentiment & added ribbon around the front.. & when you open the card you see the large 3D flower, this was again cut from a sizzix die, I curled the petals upwards to give lots of dimension & then added one of my metal flowers to the centre with a turquoise half pearl. You can't really see in the photo but the aperture is covered with a sheet of acetate just to finish it off..

& that's it for my crafting today... Off now to prepare dinner (or should I say, find the Chinese take-away menu!!!) - I hope you are enjoying your Sunday too :o)
Thanks for looking
