My Photo Cards...

The photos on these cards all are actually taken by me!!!..

I love going out on walks & taking photos of all the beautiful flowers I come across & I decided it was about time I done something with all the photos instead of just downloading them, storing them in a folder on the laptop & then never looking at them again!

I'd thought before about making greetings cards with them but I never really liked that glossy, printed out photo, stuck on a card look.. but I found these papers from PHOTO PAPER DIRECT that are really really good, the card I used is called Double sided Matt greeting card, it comes in both A4 & A5 and its pre-scored, so if you want you can just print out your photo, fold along the score line & its done. but me being me, I had to make it a but different so I printed out my photo, cut it out & then searched through my SU cardstock to find co-ordinating colours to mount the photo onto... (& of course added ribbon, sentiment & a bit of bling!!) Now I love the fact that the photo is not glossy at all & it really doesn't look like a 'print at home' photo, the matt paper is really good quality & has kept the colours really vibrant.

I'm really glad I tried these now, I think they've turned out really pretty... What do you think??
