The photos on these cards all are actually taken by me!!!..

I love going out on walks & taking photos of all the beautiful flowers I come across & I decided it was about time I done something with all the photos instead of just downloading them, storing them in a folder on the laptop & then never looking at them again!

I'd thought before about making greetings cards with them but I never really liked that glossy, printed out photo, stuck on a card look.. but I found these papers from
PHOTO PAPER DIRECT that are really really good, the card I used is called Double sided Matt greeting card, it comes in both A4 & A5 and its pre-scored, so if you want you can just print out your photo, fold along the score line & its done. but me being me, I had to make it a but different so I printed out my photo, cut it out & then searched through my SU cardstock to find co-ordinating colours to mount the photo onto... (& of course added ribbon, sentiment & a bit of bling!!) Now I love the fact that the photo is not glossy at all & it really doesn't look like a 'print at home' photo, the matt paper is really good quality & has kept the colours really vibrant.
I'm really glad I tried these now, I think they've turned out really pretty... What do you think??

Thank you so much for the gorgeous birthday card by the way!! See you at the weekend x
These are lovely, I'm a bit like you I take loads of photo's of trees, flowers and places and then they get stored in a file on the computer and never see the light of day except when the computers gets left on and goes into screen saver mode!
These would be great as gift sets to sell.
