A card.. well actually two!

I sat in the craftroom tonight & wanted to play along with another of KRISTINA WERNERS COLOUR INSPIRATIONS however everything I tried went wrong.. You know when no matter how hard you try you can tell its just not going to work.. well that's what it was like :(

The colours we had to use were..
Chocolate chip, Tangerine tango(not in UK so substituted with Pumpkin pie),So saffron & Whisper white.

Here's my first attempt - which I wasn't happy with at all - way too dark.
& Here's my second attempt - which is ok, I love this 'rose is a rose' stamp set at the moment, but I wish I'd cut out the roses & layered them up - they look a bit flat.

anyway, I'm going to enter the second one over on KW's blog as I don't have time now to make another - although maybe it would've been 3rd time lucky???

Thanks for looking

Love your card using the stamp set "A Rose Is A Rose". I've never thought to buy this stamp set but after seeing so many nice cards in the gallery, I've gone and bought it now! ;)

Thanks for sharing,

I like both cards too!
In fact I think I like the 1st one best... I expect it's only "dark" on paper because you pictured it being lighter when the idea was forming!

I love both of these cards, gorgeous colours and the shading on the first one is fantastic.
